Amador County Administration Building
Jackson, California
This project is a 56,000 sf Administration Center for the County of Amador, designed to replace the existing administration building which has become inadequate for the County's current needs. The new building consolidates the shared functions of various departments and provides expansion space to meet future needs. County administrative department spaces include Assessor, Auditor/Controller, Board of Supervisors, County Administration, County Counsel, Elections, Information Technology, Human Resource/Risk Management, Land Use Agency, Amador Fire Protection District, Building Department, Code Enforcement, Environmental Health, Planning Department, Public Works Agency, Recorder, Surveying, and Treasurer/Tax Collection. Each department includes workstations, offices, conference room, lobby/reception, file storage, and other support areas unique to each department. Future expansion areas are also provided in the overall plan.
